Whatever Wednesday

I'm not even sure what Wednesday's supposed to be. What starts with W? Watch something? Whatcha readin'? I'm too lazy to actually go look and see what it's supposed to be. So, now that I've typed those two things, I'll just share what I watch and what I'm reading. Great idea, Kate!

So, TV. I watch a lot less TV than I used to. Most of my evenings are taken up with digiscrapping after my little goes to sleep, but I tend to kind of "listen/watch." A lot of shows my husband really watches and I just kind of listen and glance up at them. And then I pepper him with annoying questions about what little detail I missed. And he always answers very patiently. Have I ever mentioned how much I love that guy? So these are the shows I watch. Some of these are on in the summer, some are in the regular TV season. I'm not going to organize them in any way. Just what I remember, really.
Parenthood
Downton Abbey
Grey's Anatomy
Big Bang Theory
The New Normal
Go On
Burn Notice
Royal Pains
Covert Affairs
Elementary
Persons of Interest
Sherlock Holmes

I feel like I'm missing something. My hubby watches a ton more stuff that I don't pay one bit of attention to. Mostly stuff about guns and people punching people in the face. Good times. For him. Apparently.

OK, on to what I'm reading. I'm actually excited, because I've been in such a reading funk for the last, like, 4 months. I haven't really been reading. Even at work, when I listen to books almost non-stop, I just haven't been into it. Well, this past week I picked up the book I had started reading ages ago and am really into it. It's the second book in the "The Discovery of Witches" series, Shadow of Night. I wasn't really liking it, but one of my friends said I should give it another try, and I've been loving it ever since. And at work, I finished the second book in the Beyonders series by Brandon Mull. It was good and had a good story line. I can't wait for the 3rd and final book that comes out in a couple months.

So, that's what's up with me. Exciting, huh?

Later gators,

Kate
